Viral Cake-in-a-Can Opens Second Location in Vivocity

Plastered all over the internet, this viral Japanese cake-in-a-can vending machine that gained popularity in Japan finally landed in Singapore in August this year.

The concept of selling cake in drinking cans through a vending machine originated all the way from Hokkaido, from the people behind the brand Gaku, known for their unique flavors and designs.

This led to the first OG Strawberry Shortcake that features layers of fluffy chiffon cake with whipped cream churned from whole fresh milk and strawberries from Hokkaido. More fresh strawberry chucks and purée sit in between layers for juicy sweetness that is hard to beat!

Thankfully we have the chance to take a taste test of each and every one of its flavors from the menu! Our favorite is definitely the Fuwa Can, Strawberry Chiffon Cake!

Fuwa, which also means fluffy in Japanese, presents chiffon cake layered with cream, fruit jelly, fruit purée, and fruit jam.

Be spoilt with choices with unique flavors like Strawberry, Mango Passionfruit, Matcha, Mango & Chocolat, and Tiramisu!

Made with fresh fruits imported from Japan, each and every piece is sliced and placed meticulously In-between each layer of fresh cream and chiffon!

Each of the canned cakes is carefully handmade and imported from Japan to stay true to authenticity and taste, and are stored at a controlled temperature of 0-3 Degrees Celsius to keep fresh!

With the huge success of the first vending machine outlet at Suntec City (Eat at Seven), they have recently launched their second vending machine location in VivoCity, hidden right smack at the entrance of Unauna!
